hi everyone!

my sincerest apologiez for not being on lately! man i've just been experiencing a severe case of the winter blues. but anyways, just had some exciting news to share: this weekend i'm going to my first school dance (yes, my first), and it's the semi-formal sweethearts dance! going out with a big group of friends, gonna go laser tagging, and oh! we're going to be taking pictures as well, and i will be more than happy to share them with you don't worry! last weekend me and my girlfriends went dress shopping and this blue one here was the first one i tried on, and i about died. can't wait to share all of our pictures with you! hope you all have a wonderful week, see you! also, if you have any advice for me, that would really help my butterflies:) xoxo.

happy new years!

this year has been such a crazy ride for me and i'm lovin every minute of it! i started this blog about mid-summer and that was when i began my photo craze. 7 months later i would have never guessed i'd have made it this far and learned this much about photography, and i am so grateful for all those who have encouraged me. xoxo.

for the first time in like, ever, i'm actually coming up with new years resolutions. yay me! one of them is to take a photo a day (365+)! i got this brilliant idea from a family member who did the same thing and i'm excited to do it, especially now that i've got a decent camera;) what are your goals for the new year?

my apologies for this lame post, i clearly have no pictures:(
oh boy do i have a lot to share since my last post! okay here we go: 1. the mighty dons lost the football championship to the dixie flyers, quite a bummer, but a good game! 2. went to the breaking dawn premier, and i know that was like a month ago now, but if you haven't seen it yet, you better get down to a theater right now because it was amazing! ive already seen it four times and i love it. anyways, its december! wow oh wow this year has flown by. yesterday, my family and i went and got our christmas tree and got it set up (this is like the first time in our family history that we havent gotten a tree two weeks before christmas), so we're pretty proud. well til next time friends! and a merry christmas!

instamatic insanity

 



as i'm sure you are aware, about a month ago, i went down south for a baseball tournament. well i finally got some of the pictures up! in between games, we stopped at an old antique store in hurricane and i just about died of happiness. yes, this beautiful camera, the instamatic 100 by kodak, became my #1 purchase since forever. my dad's purchase at least (i paid back, dont worry). too bad this old beaut needs film!! gah! well please enjoy:) in the meantime, ive got some catching up to do. high school is a rush, as always, state championship football game this friday for the first time in SFHS history! GO MIGHTY DONS!!! i'll be sure to let you know how that goes. photoshoot this saturday with my besties! and hello all you twilight fanatics out there, breaking dawn part 2 movie premier tomorrow! definatly cannot wait, i'm dressing up as bella. i hear that they're changing the ending so its different from the book; fingers crossed its good.

happy 9th of november to you!

here we are, second week into the new month and we are greeted with a monster snow storm! running to and from the scattered buildings of my high school while trying not to fall on my bum was cold and not so fun. im pretty excited for winters arrival, i gotta say, though i am not a person who enjoys the cold. but ive just got so much cute ideas for cozy outfits and great pictures, too. so of course, once i got home from school, i dragged my mom out to take some pictures (photo cred. to her, by the way) in the storm. so ive got a question for you rockstars out there, if i gave you a link to where you could purchase my pictures (i.e., like on a canvas, mug, iphone case), would you be interested? tell me here!

BEGIN AGAIN

just bought the new Red album yesterday! its pretty good i gotta say. and this just so happens to be the official music video for begin again, which was filmed in Paris (just another one of my greatest obsessions), and it is truly magical...

pomegranate picking

just spent the weekend down south in a small house we borrowed from a friend; we went exploring and discovered a massive pomegranate tree (or bush...) in the backyard. it was so fun watching the little kids pick off the biggest they could find and throw them against the patio to break them open, then find a yummy treat inside! i just had to document it:)

october is coming to an end! one day left until halloween, what are you doing? we're not really going big on halloween this year, probably just hang around and watch utah jazz basketball! well, we just got back from a weekend at st. george and oh my have i got a lot to show you! i had the brilliant idea to document our weekend down there and edit it to a really cool video. once i get it finished i'll have it uploaded here faster than you can say pomegranate (*hint**hint*).
